WHY I STARTED COLLECTING

When I was seven years old I got my first oack of Topps Baseball cards and it had this Gem in it, a Dwight Evans Record Breaker. I was enchanted at how cool this card looked and I then knew I wanted more. Started with Baseball, then basketball, then on to comic books and comic cards, and eventually currency - specifically $2 bills and penny's.

At first it was mostly about collecting and trading, but then I realized that you could collect something and it could rise in value like an investment. You mean doing something I love and it could make money? Game on.

Almost 40 years later, I'm still collecting and looking forward to passing my collection on to my kids, who hopefully pass it on to their grand kids.
