I saw a thing on here today about why you started collecting and i figured id give my why. Grew up outside of Pittsburgh with nothing but great sports teams and a lot of pride for what they meant to us. Wasnt a collector when I was really young nor did i understand it but my father got me a collection from a yard sale down the road. For years it just sat there as I grew and never thought anything of it. Until i moved away from home and decided to go through my boxes I had packed. It was awesome looking back at the cards my father bought on a whim and what all was in there. Nothing of true value but it was just the fun of collecting people from the past. Now here I am grown up with a child of my own and wanting to past down the collection my father started for me AND what I have added to it. it may just sit for awhile for them but eventually that bug will hit them and the cycle will start again.
