Another short run set discovered in dad's old binders. This set was issued at a Brewers game on August 14,1992. The game was at Milwaukee County Stadium which was later demolished in 2001. The brew crew beat the Red Sox that day by a score of 1-0. the sole run of the game was scored by Kevin Seitzer in the first inning as he was knocked home by teammate, and member of the 1982 world series team, now hall of famer, Robin Yount. looks like dad has the complete set. Sometimes the stories and memories vastly outweigh the cost of cardboard. Ultimately, this is the nuance thats missing from modern card collecting. The story starts and ends with,"look at this pile of card packs, watch me open them, check out this card the corporation told me is worth something...". put small runs back on the map. let kids find cards in their favorit lunch snack, or in their favorite player's hobby that they might share. how are there no cards with say Robin Yount's favorite fishing lure, or Roger Clemens favorite hunting broadhead? Cards are better when they sprout a memory. How you arrived at a cards ownership is emminantly better if the story is bigger than "I opened a case of hobby boxes...".
