We’re always working to add cool new features to Cardbase and this is a big one—super excited to roll out Social Profiles for our users!
Social Profiles are the first in a series of tools we’re providing our members to help connect collectors and build the most passionate community of sports card collectors.
For those of you that already use social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, Social Profiles will look familiar. Starting today, you’ll be able to:
- Pick your personal username* (which will also be your Custom url at www.getcardbase.com) ahead of everyone else! *very important for some new things coming soon 🤫
- Customize your Social Profile with avatar and background images.
- Select cards in your collection you want to be made public and viewable for the cardbase community to see. You could likely discover other users to make sales and trades with!.
- Collector’s bio —tell the world who you are, what you collect, and anything else that you’d like to proudly share with fellow users.
- Use the “Link in Bio” feature to link to other social media profiles, auctions and more to show off your other social presence for cards.
First simple step: Make sure to set up your profile and grab your custom username —because once they’re taken, they’re gone!
In the current time frame, you will only see your own Profile and Collection, but shortly you’ll be able to see other Cardbase user Profiles and Collections. So now is the time to brush up your profile!
